The Spanish Startup Association (AES) has appointed Sandra Figaredo as director of Institutional Relations and Public Affairs, with the aim of promoting the entity’s leadership role and strengthening its ties with the administration, as reported by the employers’ association in a note. of press.

The entity has explained that the appointment is part of its expansion plan, which plans to play a “decisive” role in the construction of a social, legislative and economic environment favorable to startups and entrepreneurs.

Figaredo has highlighted that his entry into the association aims to promote the services that can be provided to members, generate business development for startups, build alliances with public and private entities, expand dialogue with administrations and aspire to improve all regulations that affect to emerging companies.

He also highlighted that AES wants to help “make Spain the best place to invest, find the best talent and where entrepreneurship is an easier task.”

The association recalled that Figaredo has participated in the development of startups and has launched solidarity projects in the public sphere.
