The Spanish triple jumper of Cuban origin Jordan Díaz, national record holder and second in the world ranking of the year, will be able to represent Spain in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, after the International Federation, World Athletics, has communicated to the Spanish (RFEA) that will be eligible from June 28, 2024.

“The nationality review panel of @worldathleticha informed the RFEA that @diaz_fortun will be eligible as of June 28, 2024,” the RFEA reported on its official Twitter account.

The RFEA requested the participation of Jordan Díaz, one of the great promises of international athletics and who jumped 17.87 meters in the national championship in Nerja, with Spain in international competitions last February when he received naturalization via naturalization letter by part of the Council of Ministers.
