At least three people have been injured in Kireevsk, in the Russian region of Tula, about 200 kilometers from Moscow, due to the impact of a drone, as denounced by the Russian authorities. The device could be Ukrainian.

“A Tu-141 Swift drone has caused an explosion in the city of Kireevsk, in the Tula region. The drone was loaded with explosives,” he explained, reports the Russian news agency TASS. Local media report that the injured are a 17-year-old teenager, a 20-year-old girl and a 36-year-old man.

The detonation occurred at 3:19 p.m. Moscow time and caused material damage to three apartments in a block of flats, in addition to the three victims who were hit by shrapnel. Four other properties would have been less seriously affected.

The incident occurred on Dorozhnikov street number 19, in the center of the town. Witnesses report a crater about 10-15 meters in diameter and 6-8 meters deep. Damage reaches a radius of 500 meters.

This is the third drone incident so far this month in the Tula region. The other two craters were located about 10 kilometers from Kireevsk, near the village of Berezovski, and in the Odoevski district. In both cases there were no personal or material damages.
