Lucas Boyé misses a penalty in the final stretch and the bottom team still hasn’t won

MADRID, 31 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

A goal from the Turkish striker Enes Unal gave Getafe the victory (0-1) against Elche CF in the last match of the twelfth round of LaLiga Santander, played at the Martínez Valero, eased the position in the table of the Madrid team and sank even more to a colista that still does not know the victory in this course.

It was no use for Jorge Almirón’s team to have more presence in the area than Quique Sánchez Flores’s, who only threatened with a shot from Borja Mayoral in the first half and who went ahead in a poor clearance by the local defense. The ball fell into the boots of Carles Aleñá and he assisted Unal to achieve, in the 54th minute, the 0-1 shot close to the post.

Unal’s fourth goal in the exercise and Amavi’s expulsion spurred Elche, who looked for the equalizer with more passion than football and could find it in a penalty committed by Luis Milla, but Lucas Boyé’s error in the launch showed again that everything turns against the bottom player in this bad league start.

Elche conceded their second defeat in the ‘Almirón era’ after that of Real Madrid and, with only four points, they are very far from salvation. On the other hand, Getafe, with 13 points, moves away from the relegation places, in which Elche, Cádiz and Sevilla appear apart from the bottom, the latter two with 10 points.
