MADRID, 10 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Second Vice President and Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, has supported the reform of the crime of sedition announced this Thursday by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and has indicated that the “modernization” of the Penal Code will be good for Spain and for Catalonia.

This is how the head of Labor has reacted in a message published on social networks, collected by Europa Press, after the head of the Executive has advanced that the PSOE and UP will present a legislative initiative in Congress tomorrow to change the Penal Code with which this offense will be renamed “aggravated public disorder”.

In the message in which he indicated that the Government “does what it says” he took the opportunity to thank the “work” of the president of the UP parliamentary group, Jaume Asens.

Thus, he stressed that Spain will advance “in the direction of other European democracies” and that the reform will be good for Spain and for Catalonia.
