Valencia CF player Hugo Guillamón showed his confidence in Gennaro Gattuso, the new coach of the ‘che’ club, and believes that “he will help them a lot” to “have a good season and get the team to where it deserves to be”.

“Both he and we hope it will be a good year for Valencia CF. I could see Gattuso as a player and he is a reference in the world of football. Now as a coach I have also been able to see him and I think he will help us a lot”, he added about the Italian.
Guillamón said he was “very excited” for the 2022/23 season. “A new coach is coming who is going to bring us many good things. Both the whole team and I really want to have a good season and for Valencia CF to be where it deserves to be”, he stressed.
“When there is a change of coach there are new ideas, new concepts and the team must grasp them as soon as possible, that’s what the preseason is for and thus start the season off on the right foot. “I’m really looking forward to getting started. It’s been a bit of a different vacation. I’ve worked to start the preseason well, which was the goal.
