Javier Ramón, a lawyer specialized in public law with more than 20 years of experience advising on urban planning law, has joined the Public Law and Urban Planning team at BDO Abogados as director.
His objectives will be to lead the practice of urban planning law and manage work with clients who require this specialization. This incorporation to the Public Law and Urban Planning team, of which the magistrate on leave of absence Joaquín Vives de la Cortada is director of the area, is part of BDO Abogados’ policy of strengthening the team of jurists in this area and of its growth strategy .
Ramón has a law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. In his professional career as a lawyer specializing in Public Law and Urban Planning, which he began in 2009, he has advised both national and multinational companies as well as various local corporations.
Prior to his incorporation, he was a magistrate in the Courts of Cuenca and Guadalajara for nine years, where for the last six years he has held the position of magistrate of the Contentious-Administrative Court of Guadalajara.
In addition, he has been a professor at the Faculty of Law of the CEU-San Pablo University and at the Complutense University and is a regular speaker at numerous bar associations, and a professor of Public Law in training courses for officials of the Junta de Castilla-La Mancha, as well as the Ministry of Justice.
