ALICANTE, 20 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Dinapsis Costa Blanca, Hidraqua’s innovation hub, is looking for technological startups that provide solutions to the sustainable management of green infrastructure, sustainable tourism and improving urban resilience in the face of climate change. To do this, it aims to create synergies between these, administrations and companies.

This purpose will be highlighted in the next Dinapsis Open Challenge, a challenge that is divided into four lines of work, such as sustainable management of green infrastructures; urban resilience to climate change; management of tourist flows; and the search for solutions for the management and integration of nature-based solutions, as indicated by Hidraqua in a statement.

The Alicante town councils of Benidorm, Santa Pola, Almoradí and L’Alfaç del Pi; the University of Alicante; and Dinapsis Costa Blanca have worked together to identify these challenges.

Therefore, Dinapsis Open Challenge has the objective of finding different start-ups that propose solutions to these four challenges. The solutions must help municipalities in their ecological transition, as well as mitigate the impacts of climate change, and improve urban resilience and the management of tourist flows in this territory.

Startups interested in registering for the Dinapsis Open Challenge can do so until November 9. To participate in the program it is necessary to complete the application form, available on the Dinapsis website, where you will also be able to find out the rules of the event.

After a first phase of presenting applications, the five best startups will present their solution at a demo-day, which will take place at the end of November. The presentation will take place in front of a committee of experts and potential users. Companies will opt for the possibility of developing a pilot test of their technology in a real environment, so that indicators and conclusions can be extracted for subsequent implementation.

The chosen solution will have the possibility of being part of the Dinapsis solutions portfolio and being deployed in other geographic areas.
