MADRID, 10 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Luis Medina has asked Judge Adolfo Carretero to lift the precautionary measure that forces him to appear twice a month before the court in the framework of the procedure in which he is being investigated for an alleged fraud against the Madrid City Council.

The magistrate has transferred the petition to the prosecutor and the popular accusations so that they can formulate writings in this regard in which they maintain their positions.

In a letter, to which Europa Press had access, Más Madrid opposes the request and requests that a resolution be issued maintaining this precautionary measure.

This popular accusation wields that the appearances must prevail before the risk of flight to ensure the presence of the investigated in the process.

He insists that the resolution that issued these measures was “correctly” based on the seriousness of the crimes that gave rise to the proceedings, as well as the penalties that their conviction would require.
