BARCELONA, 31 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The lawyer of the soccer player Neymar da Silva, María Massó, has assessed this Monday that the accusation of the trial for his signing for FC Barcelona is “an attempt to give criminal justice to facts that do not have criminal justice”.

He has said it in the process of final reports in the trial for the ‘Neymar 2 case’, which is still in the Barcelona Court with the forecast that it will be seen for sentencing this Monday.

Before the trial, Massó asked the court to drop the case, considering that it corresponded to Brazilian jurisdiction because the lawsuit affects people of Brazilian nationality and events that occurred in Brazil.

For this reason, making a metaphor of the trial, he has said: “This party considers that this game is being played in the wrong place and with the wrong people. The ball in this game is my representative and no one else.”

Massó believes that the private accusation “has no evidence to support the accusation” and has assured that the player was not moved by economic interests when signing for Barça, because he had had multiple offers and some with higher amounts, such as that of Real Madrid, which he rejected
