BARCELONA, 10 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Civil and Criminal Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) has summoned the Minister of Foreign Action and the European Union of the Generalitat, Meritxell Serret, to testify on March 29 at 10 a.m. for alleged disobedience, it has reported in a car consulted by Europa Press this Friday.

The court has admitted the evidence requested by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the State Attorney’s Office, the popular prosecution exercised by Vox and Serret’s defense, and has requested that the trial be held.

In the statement, consulted by Europa Press, the TSJC has explained that the oral trial will be held in the Court’s Courtroom.

In a Twitter note collected by Europa Press, Serret said: “I have been told that on March 29 I will be tried as a member of the Government that organized 1-O. The repression does not stop me and I continue to do politics and defend the project republican and independentista”.

“We are here to be useful to the public and to build a freer Catalonia,” defended the minister, who returned from Belgium in March 2021 and voluntarily appeared before the Supreme Court (TS).
