VALENCIA, 2 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –

VOX has asked to appear as a popular accusation in the Azud case, in which alleged ‘bites’ are being investigated in exchange for public works awards from the City Council of the Valencian capital by winning companies that have allegedly made fictitious invoices, as well as an alleged illegal financing of the PSPV.

The national legal vice-secretary of VOX has registered in the Investigating Court number 13 of Valencia a document requesting the appearance.

VOX has highlighted in a statement that “the fight against corruption is one of the flags of the formation chaired by Santiago Abascal. So much so that VOX’s Agenda Spain itself contemplates the real fight against corruption,” he stressed.

From the political formation they have pointed out that they will demand the effective return of all illegally obtained public funds and “it will be pursued until the end.”

In addition, they have indicated that the transparency, complaint and accountability mechanisms will be strengthened “to prevent corruption in the Administration with Spanish money”, they have indicated.
