MADRID, 29 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least one Palestinian citizen has died and another dozen have died from gunshot wounds in clashes with the Israeli Army in the city of Beit Ummar, in the north of Hebron province, in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced at dawn on Tuesday the death of a citizen who succumbed to serious gunshot wounds to the head.

Local sources have stated, as reported by the Palestinian news agency Wafa, that the Israeli military has raided the hospital where the wounded are receiving treatment.

For its part, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported that they confronted a group of Palestinians after their military vehicle broke down in Beit Ummar.

The IDF has explained that the Palestinians threw stones and launched improvised explosive devices. The Army has responded with live ammunition and tear gas grenades.

Likewise, they have not registered injuries among their agents, while they have announced that the incident is being investigated.
