MADRID, 23 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Armed Palestinians have kidnapped this Tuesday the lifeless body of an Israeli man who died in a car accident and who was in a hospital in the city of Jenin, in the West Bank.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported that two young Israelis were taken to the local hospital for medical treatment. One of them has died in hospital due to his injuries, while the second has been transferred in serious condition to Israel to receive personalized medical treatment.

“The body of the young man was taken from the Jenin hospital and it is expected that he will be returned to his family in Israel as soon as possible, as a required humanitarian measure,” the IDF explained through its Twitter account.

According to the IDF and Palestinian media, the body of the victim — Tiran Fero, an 18-year-old student — was allegedly seized by unidentified gunmen.

Israeli and Palestinian officials are in talks to secure the release of the body, a Palestinian official has told the Hebrew daily Haaretz.

In this sense, the armed Palestinians would be demanding in return the release of the prisoners in Israeli jails, as well as the delivery of the bodies of those killed by the IDF.
