MADRID, 5 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The British Police have been forced to intervene this Saturday to contain riots of still unclear origin in the Harmondsworth migrant detention center, in west London.
At the moment there is no record of injuries in the incident but the center has been without electricity since 09.00 in the morning, according to the Police.
The British Home Office has been forced to rectify initial information in which it claimed that “a group of detainees left their rooms” and entered “armed” in an area of ??the patio.
Police, Fire and Prison services are located at the scene, according to Sky News.
The incident comes a week after a man was killed after throwing Molotov cocktails at a migrant center in the British port of Dover.
