MADRID, 28 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The United States announced this Friday a new military aid package to Ukraine valued at 275 million dollars (276 million euros) and which includes ammunition for HIMARS US-made multiple rocket launcher systems.
As explained by the Pentagon’s deputy press secretary, Sabrina Singh, during a briefing this Friday, the package consists of 500 precision-guided 155 artillery projectiles, as well as 2,000 155-millimeter anti-armor mine remote systems, has advanced the CNN network.
In addition, this new military aid includes 125 military four-by-four Humvees, small arms, more than 2.75 million rounds of small arms ammunition, and four satellite communications antennas.
With this package, which is the fourteenth withdrawal of military aid from US funds, Washington has dedicated “more than 18.5 billion dollars (18.6 billion euros) in security assistance to Ukraine” since the beginning of the Biden Administration.
