The Ukrainian authorities have reported this Wednesday of a new exchange of prisons, among which is the lifeless body of the American “volunteer” Joshua Alan Jones, killed in combat on August 23.
The head of the Office of the Presidency of Ukraine, Andri Yermak, told Telegram that another ten Ukrainian military personnel, nine soldiers and one officer, have been released from captivity by Russian forces and taken back home.
“Our people are already at home. Another prisoner exchange has been carried out (…) – We continue to work until we bring all our people home,” emphasized Yemak, who also mentioned the case of the American Jones “who fought for Ukraine and died in battle with the Russian invaders.”
Jones, a 24-year veteran of the US Army, was killed in action on August 23, the Norman Brigade, a group calling itself a “unit of Western volunteer fighters for Ukraine,” reported on its Facebook page.
