MADRID, 20 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Hosein Amirabdolahian, assured this Friday that Iran will give an “immediate and highest level” response to any action by Israel against its interests, warning that “they will regret it.”
“If Israel wants to do another adventurism and act against Iran’s interests, our next response will be immediate and at the highest level,” Amirabdolahian warned in an interview with NBC News.
The official has called the action taken the day before by the Israeli Army “child’s play” and has defined the attack launched by Iran a week ago as “a warning.”
“We could have attacked Haifa and Tel Aviv. We could also have attacked all of Israel’s economic ports. But our red lines were civilians. We only had a military purpose,” Amirabdolahian argued.
The statements by the Iranian Foreign Minister come after the Israeli Army carried out a drone attack this Friday morning against the city of Isfahan, in central Iran, in response to the barrage of missiles launched last weekend. by Tehran, which in turn was a reaction to the Israeli bombing of the Iranian Consulate in Damascus, Syria.
