BARCELONA, 17 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Two accused of sexually assaulting a minor in Manresa (Barcelona) have accepted four years and three and a half years in prison after an agreement with the private prosecution and the Prosecutor’s Office, which before the agreement demanded a sentence of 24 years in prison for them.

The trial was scheduled for this Wednesday at the Barcelona Court but, instead, accusations and defenses have ratified the agreement in accordance, so it has been necessary to hold the hearing, judicial sources have explained.

The agreement takes into account the mitigating circumstances of undue delays due to the slowness of the judicial process and reparation of the damage because each defendant has provided 20,000 euros in compensation (more than what the prosecutor requested, 30,000 between the two), and for one of them it is also has taken into account a mitigating factor of psychological alteration.

Before the agreement, the prosecutor requested a sentence of 24 years in prison for each one and attributed two crimes of sexual assault to each one, one as the author and as a necessary collaborator for each one, since while one attacked the minor the other He held her, and vice versa.

According to the prosecutor’s provisional indictment, prior to the pact, in the early morning of November 17, 2019, the accused were driving by car, they found the minor – whom they already knew – walking, they were talking to her and she They offered a drink.

The minor got into the car and “moments later” she felt dizzy, after which they attacked her in the back seats of the car.
