MADRID, 12 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts, Félix Bolaños, has stated “they will see” if they consider it necessary to summon more people to the investigation commission on the purchase of masks, in the Congress of Deputies, the day after that the PSOE list was made public in which the former minister José Luis Ábalos does not appear.
When asked directly about the reason why they have not summoned the former minister and former socialist leader, given that the ‘Koldo case’ that this commission promoted investigates one of his closest collaborators, Bolaños says that they have opted for political and technical profiles with “deep” knowledge of hiring processes.
However, it has not been closed to this list being expanded. “We are going to listen to these appearances and we are going to see if others are necessary in the course of the investigation commission,” he said this Friday in statements to the media from the patio of the Royal Palace, before inaugurating the exhibition ‘Beyond the Realism: figurative art in China and Spain’.
The minister has indicated that the purpose of the PSOE with the investigation commission on the purchase of medical supplies during the pandemic that they have promoted in Congress is to know the truth and that is why they have considered it appropriate to call those who have been included on the list, among them. which includes the current president of Congress and president of the Balearic Islands during the pandemic, Francina Armengol, the former Minister of Health and leader of the PSC, Salvador Illa and the Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory and former president of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres.
The socialists, however, focused on summoning members of the PP, the spokesperson for the Popular Group, Miguel Tellado, and the spokesperson on the commission itself, Elías Bendodo, as well as the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez Almeida, and three regional presidents. : Isabel Díaz Ayuso (Madrid), Juanma Moreno Bonilla (Andalusia) and Marga Prohens (Balearic Islands).
Although the investigation commission was created with the first purpose of clarifying the contracts signed by the central government, the list of appearances of the PSOE has more impact on the second point, that of examining the emergency contracting procedures in the other administrations.
