FUENGIROLA (MALAGA), April 12. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Miramar Shopping Center has presented its most emblematic project in terms of social and environmental responsibility: ‘VIGÍAS’. This program reflects Miramar’s renewed commitment to social, environmental and cultural causes, reinforcing its link with the Fuengirola community.

VIGÍAS, which is the acronym for ‘Internal Values ??that Generate Initiatives and Solidarity Actions’, is an expression of the shopping center’s commitment to “generate a continuous positive impact in the city of Fuengirola (Málaga).” With this program, Miramar positions itself as an agent of change, integrating ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) initiatives under a solid and recognizable brand.

The event included the intervention of Ana Mula, mayor of Fuengirola, who especially highlighted “the relevance of having initiatives like this.” Also participating were Claudia Hernández, president of the Fuengirola Red Cross, Paqui Lebron, President of AFA Fuengirola and Daniel Vallecillos, President of Fuensocial.

During the presentation, two videos were also shown detailing all the actions planned for this year, many of them in collaboration with the Fuengirola City Council, highlighting the implementation of the solar farm as the most important action in environmental matters.

This facility not only forms an essential part of Miramar’s ESG environmental strategy, but also demonstrates Miramar’s commitment to a greener future and contributes directly to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

With VIGÍAS, Miramar not only reaffirms itself as a leading commercial space, but also consolidates itself as a benchmark in the promotion of social and environmental values, creating a legacy of responsibility and commitment to the community of Fuengirola.
