To draft the document, De la Serna and Carmen Fúnez have held meetings with dozens of organizations and groups

MADRID, 25 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has activated the electoral machinery before the May elections and this Sunday he will present the party’s framework program for the regional and municipal elections on May 28 during an act in Guadalajara together with the president of the PP in Castilla -La Mancha, Paco Núñez.

For almost three months, the PP has held meetings with dozens of organizations and groups to gather proposals and opinions, such as representatives of employers, unions, the self-employed or SMEs. There have also been contacts with the disability sector, large families, accessibility, the health field, hotels, restaurants, tourism or young people, among others, according to sources from the campaign committee have indicated to Europa Press.

Former Minister of Public Works Iñigo de la Serna and Senator Carmen Fúnez have been in charge of carrying out this “listening process” with civil society for this framework program, which will serve as a base and reference for candidates from all over Spain, to the margin of the specific programs with which each of them will contest the next elections.

In this act of presentation of the program, in a hotel in Guadalajara, the leader of the PP and the president of the party in Castilla-La Mancha and candidate for the May elections will participate. The candidate for mayor of Guadalajara, Ana Guarinos, will also speak.

The leadership of the PP has chosen Castilla-La Mancha as it is one of the autonomies in contention in the May elections governed by the socialist Emiliano García-Page in the last two legislatures. The PP aspires to recover this region that has always been in the hands of the PSOE except for the 2011-2015 legislature in which María Dolores de Cospedal governed.

Feijóo already announced on March 13 before the Executive Committee of the PP that he will present his municipal and regional electoral program this Sunday, an act that will be attended by several ‘barons’ of the party, according to sources from the formation have pointed out to Europa Press.

The PP has already revealed some of the measures of its program, such as a “zero rate” for new self-employed workers or a rate of 50 euros for self-employed workers under 25 years of age who are studying higher, regulated or Vocational Training studies with the aim of promoting the entrepreneurship.

The formation led by Alberto Núñez Feijóo considers that the self-employed, together with SMEs, are a “fundamental element in accelerating growth and job creation”, but they are “those who are suffering the most from the erratic economic policy of debt and inflation of the current Government” by Pedro Sánchez.

In addition, the PP bets in its program on generational replacement plans with the aim that “those unemployed who are in a position to start a business have the possibility of continuing an existing business and that it will lose its continuity due to lack of succession”. “For this, we will establish a business registry without business succession and guidance and tutoring services in the transmission process,” he explains in the program.

In another section, it proposes to expedite the opening of businesses and new activities with the promotion of the “responsible declaration” as an alternative system to the administrative license, according to the document to which Europa Press has had access.
