MADRID, 8 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The general company committees of Adif (CC.OO., UGT, CGT, SCF and SF) and Renfe (SEMAF, CC.OO., UGT, CGT and SF) have warned that they will call a strike in both public companies understanding that the Government is not fulfilling its commitments regarding the transfer of Rodalies to the Generalitat of Catalonia.

The unions have already filed the corresponding labor dispute commissions, which represents the official reactivation of the labor dispute, which they understand should have been resolved with the agreement to call off the strike on November 23, 2023.

The Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, and the representatives of Renfe and Adif agreed with the works councils to guarantee the integrity of the two companies, maintaining their staff and operations, as well as the participation of the unions in the specific negotiation tables that originate for the purpose of dealing with the problem of transfers to the Generalitat.

“A point that both committees consider essential because, by being part of these tables, it becomes possible to guarantee that all the commitments signed with the Ministry are met,” they defend.

Both committees remember that they represent all Adif and Renfe workers, which makes them “necessary interlocutors as part of the work and decision groups, in addition to guaranteeing strict compliance with what was agreed, with their presence and participation.” .
