MADRID, 3 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Minister of Housing and Urban Agenda, Isabel Rodríguez, believes that former minister José Luis Ábalos must assume political responsibilities and has criticized that he has not left his deputy record.
“It is not just about assuming criminal responsibilities but we must assume political responsibilities,” said the minister in an interview in ‘La Vanguardia’, reported by Europa Press.
Rodríguez has shown his “absolute rejection” of corruption and “zero tolerance for any behavior that, beyond its criminal consequences, is certainly reprehensible.”
Although no charges or accusations have been brought against Ábalos, the minister has stressed the need to “be blameless in our behavior.” “And sometimes, even if we do not have criminal responsibilities, we have to assume the political consequences,” she concluded.
