Viscofan expects to register a net profit of between 156 and 164 million euros this year, which would increase it by between 10% and 15%, respectively, as the company reported this Friday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) .

Within the framework of its perspectives for 2024, Viscofan hopes to obtain revenues of between 1,260 and 1,290 million euros, between 3% and 5% more in each case, as well as registering a gross operating result (Ebitda) of between 290 and 300 million euros, which would mean an increase of between 8% and 12%, respectively.

The multinational specialized in the production of meat casings expects to grow in 2024 in the main financial figures, driven “by the normalization of the market and the focus on profitability.”

In addition, it has ensured that it maintains the objectives set within the ‘Beyond25’ strategic plan, reducing the investment needs to achieve them. Specifically, the company’s financial objectives set in its plan are based on registering revenues of between 1,300 and 1,450 million, with an Ebitda margin of 25%.

Viscofan closed 2023 with a net profit of 131 million euros, which represents an increase of 1.1% compared to the previous year, while it recorded a turnover of 1,225.8 million euros, almost 2.1% more .

In addition, the company recorded a gross operating profit (Ebitda) of 268.4 million euros for the entire year that just ended, which represents an increase of 0.5%.
