Guadalajara, February 27, 2024.- Businessman Raúl Esteban Herranz, through Jesthisa and Hocensa, has renewed his support for the Deporte Solidario Foundation at the Formigal-Panticosa station of the Aramón Group.
The primary objective of the Foundation is to provide people with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy the physical and psychological benefits of skiing, recognized by doctors and psychologists.
To achieve this, the Foundation works on several fronts, from the training of adapted ski technicians to the subsidy of material and technical personnel.
Training of technicians in adapted skiing, provision of specific material for various modalities, advice on accessibility in ski resorts, support and teaching of techniques and management of necessary materials and subsidy of material and technical personnel.
The Foundation serves people with all types of disabilities, whether physical, mental and/or sensory, including the blind or visually impaired, people with autism, Down syndrome, amputees, paraplegics, quadriplegics, cerebral palsy, among others.
The modalities and materials used are diverse, adapting to the individual needs of each person, from wedges and reins to skis with intercoms.
