The founder and first shareholder of Inditex, Amancio Ortega, through his investment arm Pontegadea, has purchased from Blackstone a logistics warehouse in the Netherlands for 100 million euros occupied by the fashion brand Primark, as sources have confirmed to Europa Press. knowledgeable about the operation.

Specifically, this acquisition, the first of this 2024 by the founder of Inditex, consists of an 87,000 square meter distribution center in Roosendaal from where the Irish chain distributes to markets such as the Netherlands and France, according to the real estate portal Reactnews.

On the logistics platform in the Netherlands, the transport operator DSV will be the formal tenant with a contract lasting ten years, but working exclusively with Primark items.

In this way, Pontegadea continues with its real estate investments after receiving a total of 2,217 million euros in dividends from Inditex in 2023, above the 1,718 million it received for this concept in 2022.
