The maximum temperatures will rise slightly this Friday, December 29 in almost all of Spain, except in the northwest of Galicia, where the values ??will decrease, on a day in which cloudy skies will predominate in the northwest half, according to the Agency’s forecast. State of Meteorology (Aemet).
In general, the AEMET predicts cloudy skies in the northwest half of the peninsula, with the possibility of some weak and scattered rainfall, more likely and somewhat more intense in the southern half of Galicia and the northern plateau.
Also on this day, intervals of medium and high clouds are expected in the rest of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. In the Canary Islands, the skies will be slightly cloudy or clear, with some intervals of high clouds. The snow level will be between 1,700 meters and 2,000 meters in the north of the peninsula.
During this Friday, the AEMET does not rule out the possibility of some fog banks in areas of the northwest half of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, and haze in the Canary Islands. For its part, temperatures will decrease in the northwest of Galicia and rise slightly in the rest. However, there will be weak frosts in the interior of the eastern half of the peninsula, somewhat more intense in the south of the Iberian system and in the Pyrenees.
Finally, the southwest wind will predominate in the northwest third of the peninsula, and a variable or calm wind in the rest.
