The human resources management software Sesame has obtained a new round of financing of 23 million euros led by the British fund GP Bullhound and with investment from PSG, which will allow it to promote the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), its consolidation in Spain and reinforce the presence in Latin America and Europe, as reported by the company in a statement.
The capital injection, which marks a significant milestone in its mission to facilitate the work of the human resources and employee management department, will allow the Valencian company to develop new software functionalities, launch new verticals and boost its international expansion.
In this sense, the company will launch new functionalities related to the financial area to the market, such as expense control, payroll advance and flexible remuneration, which positions Sesame as a complete solution for human resources management.
Sesame, with more than 8,000 clients, helps companies redefine the employee experience and bring together in the same software different solutions necessary for managing talent teams in companies.
The CEO of Sesame, Albert Soriano, explained that “in Spain it is already common to use different software to manage various tasks in the human resources and finance area. Digitalization is already a reality and the market is quite mature in that regard. “Now we are encountering companies that demand an ‘all-in-one’ solution that facilitates access and centralizes what they now have in different tools, on a single platform,” he noted.
Another objective of the funds will be to expand and improve the use of artificial intelligence in Sesame, according to Soriano, who has indicated that they were pioneers in Spain, within the human resources management software sector, in launching AI functionalities that allow us to improve and reinforce many of our tools, such as people analytics, evaluations, recruitment or internal communication. “We are going to invest a lot of effort in continuing on this path to apply AI and improve the experience of our users, but also internally to be more agile and efficient,” he stressed.
With the 23 million euros that it has just closed in this financing round, Sesame plans to continue investing in talent, continue consolidating in Spain, as well as reinforce its presence in Latin America, especially in Mexico where it has already been operating since 2023, and to be able open the market in other European countries, the company explained. “We are very excited about the new stage that will consolidate us and continue improving our software with new functionalities. In addition, it will allow us to grow and expand throughout Latin America and Europe,” declared the CEO of Sesame.
