The general secretary of the Valencian socialists, Ximo Puig, has stated that this weekend “a new stage begins” in the PSPV after the National Committee in which he will announce the decision on its future. “Each stage has its dynamics, and I think it is a moment in which new winds, new changes and new leadership are needed,” he added.
Puig has considered that the PSPV-PSOE will demonstrate tomorrow – during the committee, which will be attended by the Secretary of Organization of the PSOE, Santos Cerdán – that it knows how to “represent in the best possible way the ambition of the Valencian progressives” and that they are going to give a step forward”.
Regarding his future, Puig has indicated that he “will never be an obstacle” but will help find “the best possible solution.” Furthermore, he has announced that his speech tomorrow will have a focus “not only on the socialists, but on all Valencian citizens.” “This weekend a new stage will begin,” she added.
Puig has expressed his hope that the PSPV continues to “get the analyzes right” and “be useful to Valencian society.”
