MADRID, 16 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations, José Luis Escrivá, has advanced this Thursday that the first quarter of 2023 will be “the best quarter in affiliation and employment of the entire historical series”,

Escrivá, in statements to RNE collected by Europa Press, has indicated that this job creation at “record levels” contrasts with the “dreary winter” that some were talking about a few months ago.

The head of Social Security has indicated that his Department will publish this Thursday the evolution of the affiliation of the first half of March, which added to the data of the first two months point to a record quarter in job creation.

In this sense, he stressed that “probably” an “iconic” figure will be achieved in the coming days: one million more jobs than before the pandemic.

“Today we are a few thousand from that level,” said the minister, who has specified that “perhaps in a day or two” it will be possible to reach that million more jobs than in the pre-pandemic.
