Available for free, Intermundium marks the official launch of Sensorium Galaxy, an advanced multiplayer cross-platform metaverse built with cutting-edge technologies. While the spectacle can be experienced in stunning 2D streaming on channels like YouTube, the Sensorium website, and the Sensorium mobile app, the pinnacle of immersion comes through two virtual reality formats: VR-360 and full virtual reality.
The VR-360 format will soon be available for standalone virtual reality headsets. This VR-360 theatrical format will transport viewers to the heart of the action, immersing them in a progressive digital performance as the entire environment transforms around them in sync with the music, brought to life by the hyper-realistic avatar.
The full virtual reality format allows users to personalize their experience. They can choose to stand in the fan zone, directly in front of Carl’s avatar, join the energetic virtual crowd on the dance floor or explore the spacious halls of the levitating, futuristic concert module in the PRISM world where Intermundium takes place. Exclusive to this format, users enter Intermundium via a Shuttle, a dedicated spaceship where they can select their avatar’s appearance to best match their mood. Before entering the exhibition floor, users can also spend time engaging in spontaneous conversations with generative AI avatars, extending socialization and the feeling of immersion to a new level. Once on stage, participants can interact and chat with other users, allowing emotions to be amplified compared to real-life shows.
Designed for the most advanced virtual reality headsets, the entire experience is optimized for PCVR and remains compatible with all major virtual reality headsets currently available.
