MADRID, 16 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The toll of victims due to Israel’s bombings against the Gaza Strip after the attack launched on October 7 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has risen to 2,750 dead and more than 9,700 injured, as indicated this Monday by the Palestinian authorities.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health, dependent on the Palestinian Authority, has indicated in a message on its account on the social network Facebook that “the aggression of the occupation” has left “close to 2,750 martyrs,” as of this Monday.

Likewise, it has specified that 58 Palestinians have died and more than 1,250 have been injured in the West Bank, a balance derived from the operations of the Israeli security forces and attacks by settlers against the Palestinian population in this occupied territory.

The United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has raised the number of displaced people to more than one million people – nearly half of the Gazan population – while confirming that 23 of Its facilities have been hit by bombings, which have killed fourteen agency workers.

For their part, the Israeli authorities have put the death toll at nearly 1,400, including more than 290 soldiers, due to the attacks launched by Hamas, while indicating that nearly 200 people were kidnapped. Israel has imposed a siege on the Strip and threatens to launch a ground offensive against the Palestinian enclave.
