The National Court has granted its first permit to Rosalía Iglesias, wife of the former treasurer of the PP Luis Bárcenas, who will be released from prison for the first time since entering prison in November 2020 to serve the sentence of the ‘Gürtel case’, according to sources consulted by Europe Press.

Bárcenas’s wife will leave the Alcalá-Meco prison to enjoy two permits of five days each after serving two years in prison. The permits have had the endorsement of the Prosecutor’s Office, according to the same sources.
