MADRID, 6 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Milwaukee Bucks continue their impeccable trajectory after beating Oklahoma City Thunder (108-94) this morning, without Giannis Antetokounmpo and with Serge Ibaka on the court, in an NBA day in which Usman Garuba and his Houston Rockets fell to Minnesota Timberwolves ( 129-117) and in which Willy Hernangómez was left without participating.
The Bucks, solid leaders of the Eastern Conference with an unblemished 9-0, did not feel the absence of their star player -due to knee discomfort- and solved a new victory with Brook Lopez as the leading scorer (25).
Meanwhile, the Spanish-Congolese power forward Serge Ibaka, coming off the bench, scored 8 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, gave 2 assists and put up 2 blocks in the 24 minutes he was on the court at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
For their part, the Rockets remain sunk (1-9) in last place in the Western Conference after conceding their sixth consecutive loss to the Wolves, who always maintained the initiative during the game. Usman Garuba from La Mancha had 24 minutes in which he had time to sign up 7 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.
Finally, Willy Hernangómez from Madrid again ran out of minutes in the defeat after extra time by the New Orleans Pelicans, seventh in the West, at the home of the Atlanta Hawks (124-121), who relied on a ‘triple-double’ by Dejounte Murray (22 10 11) and in Trae Young’s 34 points.
SERGE IBAKA: 8 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.
USMAN GARUBA: 7 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.
WILLY HERNANGÓMEZ: He didn’t play.
