The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), together with the Shin Bet and the Border Guard, have arrested eight people in a series of anti-terrorist operations carried out overnight from Sunday to Monday in the West Bank.
The Israeli Army has indicated that two of the suspects have been arrested in the city of Jenin for their alleged involvement in terrorist activities, according to information from the Jerusalem Post newspaper.
Likewise, three other men have been detained in the Yehuda regional division, where the military have seized a weapon, and two others have been arrested in Kalkilya after a series of clashes. Subsequently, an eighth person has been arrested in Husan.
All eight suspects have been taken into custody as investigations by authorities continue.
The IDF, which has ensured that no Israeli casualties have been reported, has also carried out raids in Nablus throughout the night, where gunshots have been heard.
