MADRID, 23 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Luis Aragonés Hall of the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas (Madrid) will host this Monday, starting at 12:30 p.m., the draw for the first round of the Copa del Rey, in which 110 divided teams will participate, including 16 from LaLiga Santander, in seven pots.

This first round will be played on the weekend of November 12 and 13 under the format of a single match, with two of them broadcast openly through RTVE, a corporation that has acquired the broadcasting rights of the tournament during the next three seasons.

The draw will decide the crossovers for 16 teams from LaLiga Santander (all except the four classified for the Spanish Super Cup: Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, ??Real Betis and Valencia), 20 from LaLiga SmartBank (with the exception of Real Racing Club de Santander as champion of the First RFEF last season), 19 from the First Federation, 34 from Second B, 7 from the Third Division, 4 from the Federation Cup and the 10 from territorial categories.

The lower category teams will always play as locals against the higher category, without there being the possibility in this first round of a tie between teams that this season play their matches in the same division.

The draw can be followed live via streaming through the official RFEF media and on television through the Teledeporte channel, and will begin with the screening of the initial chapter of the series ‘La Copa de Todos’, currently available in its entirety at the Prime Video platform, and which tells stories related to the latest edition of the oldest tournament in our football.
