MADRID, 20 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Atlético de Madrid attacker Thomas Lemar has a thigh injury, “strong elongation”, suffered last Tuesday in the duel against Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga Santander.
“Thomas Lemar suffers a strong elongation in his thigh. The ‘rojiblanco’ midfielder has undergone medical tests at the University Clinic of Navarra that have confirmed the injury, after being substituted in the first half of the Atleti-Rayo Vallecano match last Tuesday”, says this Thursday the Madrid team.
On the other hand, Atleti explains that the player will now begin his recovery, without specifying the possible down time. “The French international will begin to receive physiotherapy sessions, readaptation training and his evolution is pending,” he adds.
Lemar, who was looking for his best version at the start of the season, had to be replaced by Carrasco in the 40th minute of the duel at the Cívitas Metropolitano, which ended 1-1.
