The former president of the Generalitat and Junts MEP, Carles Puigdemont, has pointed out that the only response that the independence movement expects is “the end of repression and total amnesty” by the State after four years of ‘Operation Judas’.
“No matter how many doors they burst, they will not be able to overcome our convictions,” he said in a message on the social network X collected by Europa Press this Saturday.
‘Operation Judas’ is the name given to a Civil Guard operation in which on September 23, 2019, people linked to the Defense Committees of the Republic (CDR) were arrested for alleged crimes of integration into a terrorist organization, manufacturing and possession of explosives and conspiracy to commit destruction in order to achieve the independence of Catalonia.
