The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, has revealed that the passage of the storm through the province of Toledo has left a man dead in the town of Casarrubios del Monte when the rescue services tried to access him.

In an interview on Onda Cero collected by Europa Press, García-Page pointed out that this “displeasure”, in the absence of confirmation, occurred when the services tried to rescue two people from a car.

The president has commented that this has been one of the days where the firefighters and Civil Protection have had to stop helping people due to water drainage, since they had to deal with situations of people trapped by water.

On the other hand, the regional president has explained that at this moment there are six regional highways cut off and that the Toledo municipality of Chozas de Canales is incommunicado.
