MADRID, 10 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Spanish power forward Santi Aldama shone in double figures this morning with the Memphis Grizzlies in their important victory (131-110) over the Golden State Warriors who still haven’t started away from home with eight consecutive losses away from the Chase Center.

The player from the Canary Islands, who was a substitute again but played 30 minutes, signed 15 points (5/9 from the field and 3/5 from 3-pointers), 7 rebounds and 1 assist. With him on track, the Tennessees enjoyed a lead of up to 16 points, although the scoring leaders in Memphis, without Ja Morant, Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke, were Tyus Jones (22 points and 11 assists), Jaren Jackson Jr. (21 points and 9 rebounds) and Desmond Bane (21 points and 6 assists).

The Grizzlies, who continue to fight with the Sacramento Kings for second place in the West, were able to delve into the fragility of some Warriors who are still in the doldrums as visitors, with eight straight losses, although still seventh in the fight for the ‘Playoffs’.

A wound that has worsened in the last three games, conceding 113 points against the Los Angeles Lakers, 137 against the Oklahoma City Thunder and 131 this morning at FedExForum. Only Stephen Curry (29 points) and Jordan Poole (22) fell short.

Finally, the Rockets led by Usman Garuba without scoring and with only 5 rebounds in 10 minutes fell in overtime against the Indiana Pacers led by point guard Tyrese Haliburton (29 points and 19 assists). Those from the Midwest are twelfth with a balance of 30-37, close to the ‘Play in’ positions set by the Washington Wizards.

SANTI ALDAMA: 15 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist.

USMAN GARUBA: 5 rebounds.
