MADRID, 10 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has reproached the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, that the Spaniards have lost purchasing power since he arrived at La Moncloa and he has reproached him for carrying out a strategy to muddy politics due to his lack of proposals: “Mud and nothingness”, he launched.
In the Government control session that took place this Wednesday in Congress, once the appearance of the Head of the Executive had finished to report on the conclusions of the last summit of European leaders and relations with Morocco, Feijóo has pointed out that Spain has fallen “three points” in the last five years in purchasing power.
“We have less purchasing power than when you came to government and, meanwhile, Spaniards are becoming poorer,” Feijóo warned, pointing out that there are 13 million citizens who live at risk of poverty, four of them in “severe material” poverty. as he pointed out. “We Spaniards have never been as poor as with you,” he then remarked.
On the contrary, Sánchez has defended the country’s economic situation and has highlighted that when he entered the Government, Spain was growing at the average rate of the countries of the European Union and now it is growing at five times that rate.
He has also taken advantage of the employment data, the number of women who are working, the public deficit and foreign investment, which is higher than that recorded during the previous PP administration led by Mariano Rajoy, as he has pointed out.
“Once again nothing and mud, a destructive opposition that will lead him to continue in the opposition over the next few years,” the Chief Executive concluded.
