ZARAGOZA, 4 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
King Felipe VI swore the flag again this Saturday, May 4, 40 years after his entry into the General Military Academy (AGM) of Zaragoza. On this occasion, the Princess of Asturias, Leonor de Borbón, has been a witness as a lady cadet.
The central military event, which was chaired by the Kings, Felipe VI and Letizia, began at 11:30 a.m., with the formation of the Spanish flag entering the Patio de Armas, to the rhythm of the National Anthem. Next, the head of state reviewed the units in formation.
The first to kiss the national flag was King Felipe VI, at 11:40 a.m., followed by his more than 200 colleagues from the XLIV promotion, as happened in 2010, when he ‘rejured’ the flag on the occasion of the 25th anniversary .
Princess Leonor has participated in this military event with the military uniform, as a second-year student of the AGM, along with the rest of the knights and ladies cadets.
