Its CEO, Juan Santamaría, already exceeds his salary, earning 7.8 million euros

The president of ACS, Florentino Pérez, obtained a total remuneration in 2023 of 7.6 million euros, which represents an increase of 14% compared to the previous year, according to the remuneration report presented to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). ).
His salary was 1.86 million euros, to which is added a short-term variable remuneration of 4 million euros, a remuneration for savings systems of 1.4 million and another 390,000 euros as compensation as a member of the board.
The 14% increase responds mainly to the higher variable remuneration, which in 2022 was 3 million euros and which is linked to individual performance and the achievement of objectives in terms of profit or Ebitda.
For his part, the CEO, Juan Santamaría, already received a higher remuneration than the president, earning 7.8 million euros, 103% more, due to the fact that his appointment as ‘number two’ took place in mid-2022. , this being his first full year as CEO.
His remuneration is broken down into 1.2 million euros of salary, 2.3 million of variable remuneration and 300,000 euros as a director, to which is added another 3.6 million euros for the management he exercises in other companies in the group, like Hochtief or Cimic.
As a whole, the ACS board of directors received around 23 million euros in 2023, compared to 19.6 million in 2022, which implies an increase of 17%.
