The FC Barcelona player Robert Lewandowski receives this Wednesday in Barcelona the Golden Boot for the 2021-22 season that accredits him as the top scorer in Europe last season, when he played for Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga.
Lewandowski, who scored 35 goals last season and added 70 points in the fight for the Golden Boot, beat PSG striker Kylian Mbappé (28 goals) and Italian Lazio player Ciro Immobile (27), with Karim Benzema (Real Madrid, 27) fourth in the table.
He will receive the award at the Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm, starting at 1:30 p.m., in an act that will include the intervention of his current president, Joan Laporta, or his coach, Xavi Hernández. The former Blaugrana captain Carles Puyol will also be present.
