More than 57,200 people attended the different demonstrations held on the islands this Saturday against the tourism model under the slogan ‘The Canary Islands have a limit’.

According to data from the Government Delegation in the Canary Islands provided to Europa Press, the largest gathering took place in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with around 30,000 people.

Meanwhile, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria some 14,000 people supported the ‘Canary Islands has a limit’ initiative and in Arrecife (Lanzarote) some 9,000.

Furthermore, in Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura) the demonstration had 2,800 attendees, in San Sebastián de La Gomera about 300 people and in Valverde (El Hierro) 120.
