Peter Brandt’s Advice for Youth: “Avoid Student Debt, Contribute monthly Savings to Bitcoin”
Peter Brandt is a prolific Twitter user and doesn’t hesitate to share his opinions. The veteran trader often speaks about Bitcoin ( TTC), sharing his perspective on crypto markets and Bitcoin’s price corrections.
Brandt offered some guidance to Gen Zers on Thursday about how they should position themselves within the current economic environment. Brandt tweeted: “My advice to Gen Zers” – Get a degree in a job-related field – Avoid student loans as much as possible – Secure a good job, and consider [markets] as a hobby.” To his 626,600 followers on Twitter, the popular commentator added:
Buy a house, get married, or be frugal. -Contribute [monthly] to savings to [bitcoins and stocks] of solid businesses – & HOLD. -Keep buying/hope you can find lower prices.
Brandt added that having a university degree is “highly overrated.” He also said that “university degrees are hugely underrated.” Brandt stated that he prefers rental property to crypto and that he prefers “quality stocks” over “crypto.” “Crypto remains unproven IMO. Avoid 8hitcoins, jpgs. Brandt stated that he hopes for a bearish market where stocks can be purchased cheaply.”
One person asked Brandt his statements. “Since when were you pro-Bitcoin Peter?” Brandt replied by telling the Twitter user that Brandt has been optimistic about bitcoin for a while now.
Brandt replied . “Those who know me well know that I have been bullish for many years,” Brandt said. “But charts and tweets are something I try to be truthful about.
