It also undertakes to make a “Spanish Interrail” with a discount of 90% on State trains and buses and 50% on High Speed

MURCIA, 6 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The President of the Government and leader of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, has announced this Saturday a 50 percent discount on the European Interrail so that young people between the ages of 18 and 30 “can travel throughout Europe” between June 15 and September 15.

This has been advanced during a PSOE rally in Murcia, where he has indicated that this “new commitment” of his Government with young people will be approved in the Council of Ministers next Tuesday.

Sánchez has also advanced the commitment to make a “Spanish Interrail” that will have a 90% bonus for young people in those railway and bus infrastructures that are the responsibility of the General State Administration and 50% in high speed.

“So we are going to have a European Interrail and we are going to have a Spanish Interrail so that our young people know each and every one of the municipalities and regions of our country”, Sánchez has valued, stressing that there are “many young people” in Spain who know more Europe than his own country.

The president has claimed that with this measure economy is made, tourism is encouraged, especially rural, even more so given the “immense” cultural and historical heritage that Spain has.
