In order to guarantee the optimization of technology, sustainability and the well-being of its employees, the new offices are located in the Velazquez 86d building in Madrid, a reference space located in the financial district in the center of the capital. The firm will occupy three floors of this building, owned by Colonial, which have been carefully adapted to the needs of the firm’s employees. The new headquarters has innovative solutions for different environments, the most advanced technologies that facilitate day-to-day work, and an environment that is adapted to each employee and respects their well-being. The building also offers different common spaces for the exclusive use of the companies located there, including outdoor terraces and multipurpose areas, which allow for more collaborative and flexible formulas. Aon will also maintain a plant in the Torre Rioja building, with a completely renovated building and offices aligned with the new headquarters in Spain. Velazquez 86d has LEED Platinum, the highest level of LEED certification, as a result of adding value to the property in five areas: sustainable location, water protection, energy efficiency and renewable energy. All Aon office spaces in Madrid are designed for employees, in order to offer a dynamic experience, equipped with great natural light, LED lighting technology and an intelligent system for temperature, humidity and CO2 control, with large useful surfaces, open lobbies that allow visibility and flexibility in use of spaces.
