Regarding the statement from the Israeli embassy that called immoral the statements of certain ministers of the Executive, whom it saw as aligned with Hamas, and the subsequent response from Foreign Affairs, Sumar’s spokesperson insisted that this statement was agreed upon with Díaz and , therefore, marks the Government’s position.
“We also fundamentally agree in the condemnation of all terror attacks on the civilian population, both carried out by Hamas and the State of Israel,” he emphasized.
On the other hand, Lois has explained that the situation in Gaza is one of “maximum tension”, where a real “massacre and barbarism” is taking place and calls for the release by Hamas of the hostages but also for Israel to allow corridors humanitarian aid to leave the area, given that the population may also be held hostage by the conflict.
